Winning the Wednesday Social Greensome Stableford in convincing fashion was the power pairing of Walid Hammad and Greg Maddox, posting a whopping score of 24 stableford points. In recent weeks Greg has had a succession of disappointments firstly winning the Wooden Spoon and secondly having his name drawn in the cash accumulator for 2300 dhs but had left before the presentation. So it was fitting being so close to Christmas that the big antipodean finally had a change of luck to claim the winning prize.

Second and Third Place was a tight affair as both teams finished on 21 stableford points and had to be decided on a count back. Lucky Legs Belton and partner Wild Williams prevailed over the girls teams of Mira Yoo and Zenia Wivou thanks to their superior points tally over their final six holes, 15 points to the thirteen points scored by the girls. Legs was in the prizes for a second time on the night as he claimed the nearest the pin on hole 16 with hole 12 going to an old face, Phil Redhead.
